I would love to see this happen as well. Especially since a small part of I-376 is a toll highway, while the rest of it is free. (and yes, it does have the "toll=yes" tags)

I still don't understand why this basic thing still hasn't been implemented yet. It is important and sometimes crucial that users see which roads (highways) are toll roads and which are not. I would say this is more of a priority than other superficial indicators like parking, bus stops, SOS call boxes, etc
Does any one know when this could happen. I'm assuming it is pretty easy thing. Most toll roads are Tagged with toll road = yes.
Please implement this enhancement.
Let's hope Apple's implementation of OpenStreetMap will have this implemented.

It would be useful if toll roads were rendered differently from other roads.
Maybe with a dashed line over the toll road?
This is useful information for route planning, as you might want to avoid toll roads etc. The tag toll=yes is already used thousands of times.
Example here (M6 Toll in the UK): http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=52.5408&lon=-1.7273&zoom=14&layers=0B00FTF
