Here, the layer=1 motorway bridge is shown to be passing over a railway bridge that is designated layer=2.

Here, all motorway layers are tagged layer=0 while the tertiary has layer=1. Strangely, the motorway lanes without the bridge tag are underneath the bridge of the tertiary (just as they should be) while the one tagged as bridge=yes, layer=0 is on top of everything.
