If I understand it right, what's described in the description is: "in case Yahoo satelite imagery is not available for zoom level X but it is for zoom level X-1, display that imagery and zoom it so that it gets scaled right".
If this use is allowed by Yahoo, it would definitely be a nice feature!

Consider showing Yahoo at the previous zoom level, but with _xscale and _yscale=200, when imagery does not exist.
