I think it would be very useful if the namefinder provided links to the search results in the data browser.

E.g., the second search result for "Bodensee" should link to http://openstreetmap.org/browse/way/25209200 in addition to the current http://openstreetmap.org/?mlat=47.654407&mlon=9.183406&zoom=13 .

I'm not sure what the interface should be -- two links, or an option for an extended interface, or an option to link to the browser instead of the map?

Namefinder is not part of potlatch, the potlatch specific version of this ticket is at #686

The left hand column now has links to both the browse ("details") and browse history ("history"). Furthermore, there's also a tag editor which can both display and edit the tag values for the node/way ("edit").
