Sometimes there are database inconsistencies whereby there are invisible nodes in a visible way (usually due to server slowness and something aborting halfway through an operation). Potlatch could perhaps do something useful in such circumstances.
getway could easily fetch node.visible for each node and send this back to the SWF (just as getway_old does). Then, perhaps, the "!" could show up, and clicking on it would come up with an error report, with a "Fix" button.
Or something.

Events from Feb 2009 is ancient history in API terms. Whatever caused the error then has likely already been fixed. I've undeleted the effected node via revert tools.
