To speed up adding all the oneway street info a oneway=yes tag could be added if a user presses the 'change direction' button for a way. Very few would do that unless they were in the process of tagging a street oneway, and, if wrong, the tag is easy to remove.

I think it'd be unintuitive to add it automatically (way direction is used for other things, e.g. direction of river flow) but will think about adding it if the user presses Shift while clicking the button.
