In Google Maps and OSM Maps panning is done with the left mouse button. In Merkaator it's done with the right mouse button. This is very confusing. I would like an option to switch this, so panning with left and selecting with right.
Or: panning with left and selecting with CTRL-LeftMouse.

Actually, I'd prefer a one button configuration.
If nothing under the mouse is selectable -> Pan
