[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 11.28pm, Thursday, 13th November 2008]

Lots of people on the forum has said "My trace just disappeared", and I got no email. May be it would be a good idea to keep the references to failed imports+the failed file, and changing the status to "PARSE ERROR"?

This is a lets let Silverstone do it post! (not really, but it's fun to confuse!)

All failed imports are reported to the originator by email so there is no need to clutter up the database with the failed traces.
