When merging nodes by moving the workflow is broken by popping up a dialog box (merge yes/no). In connection with ticket #1486 this is pretty annoying. Automerging should be a configurable option (always/never), and the user should be asked for confirmation only if the merging nodes have different tags.
Other pop-up dialogs disturb the workflow, too:
At the end of Create Area
Delete road nodes when deleting a road
All of this could be made configurable to default behavior in order to improve workflow.
