The default value of 100m for the option "Don't connect GPX nodes separated more than" is not useful and may lead to many GPX tracks beeing displayed interrupted.

Most Garmin GPS devices store interpolated track points, they cannot be configured to store a point every second. For a straight line this generates less track points. At normal driving speed on straight roads this generates trackpoints very often beeing displayed interrupted. This could be interpreted as a bug (by new users) until the option found in the preferences dialog.

A better solution is a higher default value and/or a different check for displaying nodes disconnected: us a combination of max distance and max time difference between two points (e.g. 30 seconds).

(In [13209]) FIX : Allow disabling "Don't connect GPX nodes separated more than.." by setting it to 0. (fixes #1488)

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "disabling ..". Do you mean disabling the connection of nodes at all OR disabling the check for the maximum distance between nodes? You made it work in the mean of the first suggestion so that gpx-track nodes are not connected at all when the value in prefences is 0.

I would suggest to change it because in my eyes it makes no sense in the current way.
