Not reproducible, User error very likely..

Just look at the screenshot, very unimportant bug..

  1. start creating a way, from the end node of a newly created way.[[BR]]
  2. create three points[[BR]]
  3. attach to an old way.[[BR]]

Result:
very strange line appears:
extra connection is created with the start node.
