Geotag photo's without GPX track

Description

Currently you can only geotag your photo's if you also have a GPX file taken at the same moment of taking the picture. Although this is a nice feature, sometimes you make pictures without having your GPS with you. It would be nice to open your pictures to the geoimage dock and from there drag them to a position on the map. Afterwards you can save your pictures (which now have geotag information) back to your harddrive.

Your feature wish is now implemented in merkaartor's svn trunk (and probably it will be in version 0.13 too). An image can be geotagged by dragging it from an explorer into merkaartor and dropping it on the wished trackpoint. The trackpoint position is then stored in the image and after saving the new information the image is loaded into the GeoImageDock?. Hope this is what you mean :)
