[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 2.38pm, Sunday, 8th March 2009]

After having created a new area the resulting area should be selected automatically, so tags can be added at once (just like when creating a new road). Currently another click is necessary to select the new area.

Furthermore it would be nice to have distance measurement during area creation as well (again like for creating a new road).
