When a node is part of a way, it's impossible to keep the node and delete the way. This is important when you want to save the tags on a node.

reproduce:

create a way
tag one od the nodes with something
try to delete the way without deleting the tagged node.

Solution:
I really have no idea, best idea I have is make an alert that says "Hey! you deleted a node with tags do you want to keep that node"...
