On cycle map (i know this is mapnik...) there's no rendering of "highway=path" but they are rendered on mapnik and osmarender.

Yep, it's true, and has been discussed to death on every OSM communication channel I know of!

So what does this mean? Are you willing to add paths to your rendering or not?

Things tagged with highway=path are now rendered on the cyclemap as either footpaths or cyclepaths, as appropriate.
