To make undeletes easier I'd like some quick undelete/revert from the browse/x/ID/history pages.
i.e. have a link like "revert to this version" next to every version printed.
Just give the user the possibility to enter a commit message, then just upload the selected version as newest to the API.
Maybe warn about the way not necessarily being in the same geographical position because nodes are not reverted etc. pp.
Simply fail if prerequisites are not met, (i.e. undeleting a way would fail because it references deleted nodes) but be as verbose as possible about it (i.e. what to do to make the way reappear)

I am not sure this is a good idea. The website/history tab isn't an editor. You can't delete ways from the website why should you be able to undelete them? You won't easily be able to see what else is around etc. If we need better support for undeleting things then we should add this to the editors not the history tab.
