Convert a gpx layer to an osm data layer and back.
I am not sure whether this feature is too dangerous. After all, raw GPS data should not be inserted as real data. On the other hand, if JOSM support sufficient modes to simplify the data, this is a very nice option to fast create boring and long major land roads.

Implemented. I decided not to add additional tagging information.
Together with the right tools, it can be a perfect normal way of entering data to simplify the tracklog instead of drawing the streets from scratch on top of them.
