I have noticed a problem with osmarender: If an area is tagged as 'amenity=grave_yard', osmarender ignores it and the area is painted white.
For painting areas, the same style as 'landuse=cemetery' can be used. For nodes maybe we could use the same symbol as for filling areas -- the rectangle with rounded top resembling grave panel.

Just a quick note that the symbol on cemetery rendering varies depending on whether the area is tagged with religion=christian or not, but I guess something similar could be done with the nodes.
