Areas with highway=pedestrian are rendered different in Merkaartor than on OSM

Example:

On OSM the center-lines of the area are used to render the pedestrian area.
http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=52.101717&lon=5.245209&zoom=18&layers=B000FTF

In Merkaartor the outline of the highway is used to render the area.
This makes it hard to draw the pedestrian area correctly in OSM.

I would suggest that the same representation would be used as 'area=yes' 'building=yes'.

kind regards,

Egon

(In [15093]) FIX : Draw areas like Mapnik in "Mapnik*" styles (closes #1829)
