It'd be good to include the coordinates on node pages in the data browser for users to see at a glance (maps are zoomed right in so they don't give a good overview anyway) and for search engines etc. to be able to index if desired.

I think we should show the coordinates as one of the lines of metadata we already show, wrapping it in the [http://microformats.org/wiki/geo geo microformat], and also include the [http://geourl.org/add.html ICBM] and [http://geotags.com/geobot/add-tags.html geoposition] tags in the html head. Flickr does something similar ([http://www.flickr.com/photos/8407953@N03/3293128444 e.g.]).

If only :)

If you only wanted to go for one, to keep it simple, the visible text wrapped in the microformat is probably the best to use.

I've attached a patch which adds in the microformat, and additionally links through to the map as the Larger Map link already does.

(In [15322]) Include node coordinates on the data browser view for a node. Fixes #1856.

Thanks Tom, and I'm glad you moved them under the other details as they look better there.
