Where a node is shared between multiple ways in the data browser, it could be handy for a user to be able to see links off to them from the other way pages that share that same node. This would allow a user to see at a glance whether ways were connected in the right places (e.g. road junctions), or see if there are ways connected that shouldn't be (e.g. bridges over roads). It also gives a quick link through to any way that connects on from the end of the one you're currently viewing (e.g. where a road is broken into multiple parts due to differing attributes).
Attached is a patch of a rough first attempt. If you're ok with the concept (and there isn't too much of a performance hit) we can extend the idea to relations as well.
