Both 500, history looks fine, probably needs a look at the database to see whats wrong.

Ha, well it's your fault ;-)

Those ways have zero nodes in them, so no "midnode", so r15985 causes the render to fail when it tries to generate an edit link that dereferences midnode which is nil.

bugger, i'm sure when i was reporting this i was thinking it was an api call, not the browser...
i see zere's committed a fix in r16041 that should work, so resolving
