I am working with buildings. To correct issues, I need to be able to zoom in further then I can do now.

Workaround;

1- copy raw buildings from shape to dirty layer, upload.
2- Download in JOSM because JOSM can zoom in far enough to correct errors.

I'd be curious to know what background/GPS you are using!

Let's be serious. The zoom is blocked at 100 pixels per meter.
What are you using which is that precise?

See attached image. In merkaartor it is impossible to select building corner nodes and do a merge. For this I am now forced to upload the "rubish" switch to JOSM and correct the errors there.

You are not using 0.14, are you?

In 0.14, you can zoom much farther than that.

I am on OpenSuse and just upgraded to 0.14. I can indeed zoom in far enough, thank you!

I have a new issue now, I can no longer open the shape file which contains my original building contours...
