I have made some footways and setup different relations depending on red/blue track/symbols.
When selecting one of those tracks and "hoovering" the relation (in the pane in the lower left) the complete track(relation) should be highlighted.
This only works for one of the relations. For the part where the two tracks(relations) join in a common way, it will only be highlighted for one of the two relations.

I am pretty sure this worked properly in Potlatch v1.1, but not in v1.2 nor v1.2a.
