[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 10.16pm, Saturday, 5th September 2009]

While saving a newly added way (just the one) my internet connection failed. I restarted the internet connection and pressed save again I but got this error:

Precondition failed: Way requires the nodes with id in (-55,-54,-53,-52,-51,-50,-49,-48,-47,-46,-45,-44,-43,-42,-41,-40,-39,-38,-37,-36,-35,-34,-33,-32,-31,-30,-29,-28,-27,-26,-25,-24,-23,-22,-21,-20,-19,-18,-17,-16,-15,-14,-13,-12,-11,-10,-9,-8,-7,-6,-5,-4,-3), which either do not exist, or are not visible.

This just happened to me today. Though, now that I look at the date on the last ticket modification by Richard, it's certainly possible that I wasn't using the fixed version of Potlatch.
