This one is really hard to fix as the oneway arrows are not text features. Therefore duplications-avoidance doesn't catch it. Adding a white/color of the road core casing to the font breaks auto-deduplication for street names and is potentially a mess.
I can see that this needs fixing, but I don't know how. I'll leave this ticket open for patches and smart suggestions.

When you have a small one-way street the street name get not easily read.
