When a user uploads a GPS trace, sometimes they may wish to view it on the map to see at a glance where they traveled, and/or what's already mapped around there.
Currently they can see the overview animation, or they can click through to Potlatch to see it there, but they can't view it on the actual map. The 'map' link by each gpx file may be a little misleading in that respect, as it implies that you'll see it overlaid on the map.
I appreciate the files may sometimes have too much data in to display them as-is through OpenLayers, so perhaps they'd need to be run through a simplification algorithm (maybe depending on the zoom level they're viewing it at) and then the simplified version displayed?
