Potlatch should be able to sign in when it discovers that it is not signed in. This is similar to #1232 which wasn't solved.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make lots of edits in offline mode
  2. I don't know, make it fail.
    Result:
Potlatch says: "You are not logged in, so Potlatch can't write any changes to the database."

Expected behaviour:

  1. Being able to save my changes in some way.
  2. check if the browser is logged in
  3. Make me put in an password directly into potlatch if you do loose the auth token.

BTW Potlatch still rocks!
