When tracing or correcting data from USGS topo maps, I find myself switching a lot between the Yahoo view and the custom background layer to sanity check between the two. Right now, this is a bit clunky, requiring 3 mouse clicks all over the screen.
A hot key for each kind of background for this would speed this up significantly.
Not a major enhancement, for sure, but probably easy to implement?

Great! I missed the reference to this page on the main Potlatch wiki page and it was missing in the shortcuts section of help screen of Potlatch itself. Maybe it could be added there? Or add a link there to the general shortcuts screen on the wiki?
