Several of the tickets refer to various ways of making it easier to add a relation to a sequence of ways as you scroll the map. I think the simplest and most general way of making this easier would be to allow a single tag to be memorised, rather than the set of tags for the current way.
Currently, if the focus is on a tag, nothing is memorised. I would suggest that that single tag be memorised, to be later pasted on other ways.
Clearly this only solves the problem of pasting a relation if the memorise function works on relation-membership tags.
I've put this in as a major enhancement, because applying relations to ways is currently a major pain in the butt, with current methods tedious or error-prone.
