I've just recieved this message from JOSM when going into way mode with some segments and a way already selected:

"1 way has been selected.
Do you wish to select all segments belonging to the way has instead?"

I think I know what this means, in which case there is an eronious "has" at the end.
If its not that, I think this message should be reworded.
