When drawing buildings, sports areas and other rectangle areas, a tool that automatically rectifies the angles of an area (to 90) would be very helpful.
Two variants could be made available:
Rectify one single angle: select a node with only two originating roads, applying the tool makes the angle between both roads orthogonal. This could be helpful for unusally shaped buildings with more than four points (L-shape, T-shape etc.)
Rectify a four-point area by applying the above function to all nodes. Not a trivial algorithm, though...
The existing Create Rectangle in combination with Rotate is nice, but it doesn't help for existing areas.
