I was told that osmeditor support direct NMEA access to serial
interface. I never got it to work though.
For JOSM, I have to say, that I never accessed the serial port from
within Java and that I do not know anything about the NMEA protocol. I
will implement this feature sometime in the future, but given the
complexity, the fact that an other editor support it and the pressing of
many other usefull staff as History or background images, I think it may
take a while... :-| I'm sorry.
