The following popup error message appeared while editing:

An unusual error happened (in 'whichways'). The server said: uninitialized constant ActiveSupport::Multibyte

Please e-mail richard@systemeD.net with a bug report, saying what you were doing at the time.

I was editing live. I had just completed a zoom-out with the page-down key shortcut. I had sometime previously used the g key shortcut to download GPS traces; however, these never rendered and the status bar was saying "contacting server..." (with server name).

I have just received the same error (in the same editing session). I was using the left-arrow key shortcut for panning to the West.

I am going to close my session and start a new one.

This is a server issue rather than a Potlatch one - Potlatch is just passing the error on to you. Hopefully it's not happening any more. :)
