ActiveSupport::Multibyte is a server error rather than a Potlatch error and has hopefully been fixed by the time you read this. But thanks for the report. :)

When editing around [[BR]]

in Potlatch I get lots of error popups that mean functionality is removed (unable to delete, unable to select or press enter, no shortcuts etc) until it becomes unuseable.[[BR]]
An example error message is :[[BR]]
