It seems that type=multipolygon relations with highway=raceway are not rendered.

See, for example: http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/relation/399272

Ideally, the area defined by the relation should be shaded in the same style as a way with highway=raceway.

Note: I suspect this issue will be applicable to many other kinds of features that have traditionally be mapped as a way (i.e. not just highway=raceway), but may now alternatively be mapped as an area, using a multipolygon relation.

[Added to the original trac issue at 11.57am, Monday, 26th May 2014]

This is a tagging mistake - highway denotes linear features, not outlines.

I will therefore close this as invalid.
