#2775 closed enhancement (fixed)

JSON contains class property which is reserved in javascript

Reported by: o.boudet@… Owned by: geocoding@…
Priority: major Milestone:
Component: nominatim Version:

JSON requests returns data with "class" property (highway, railway, etc) but the word "class" is reserved in javascript. As a consequence, a Javascript object built by jQuery (and probably other frameworks) with Nominatim data is not correct in IE and could not be executed (works great in Firefox).

I suppose it will be difficult to change this if many people use Nominatim in many apps but I wanted to say.
