As of release 0.16, WMS does not work for me (i.e. no background is displayed). It worked great on release 0.15.3.

Platform: openSUSE 11.2 64-bit (I use the binary on the site referred to on the Merkaartor download page).

Yahoo WMS does not work, Yahoo TMS works fine. A custom WMS that worked in 0.15.3 does not work in 0.16.

After doing some network sniffing, it appears that the BBOX parameter is not generated correctly by Merkaartor. For example, one URL submitted by Merkaartor contains "BBOX=-17521083.657276,9771710.821770,-17511298.167586,9780769.509750". This doesn't look right to me. When I submitted this URL using a browser, I got a blank image.

Then I sniffed a URL submitted by JOSM and found "bbox=-78.6942151,43.9069151,-78.6847600,43.9137268" which seemed like good lat/lon values to me. When I submitted this URL using a browser, I got the correct background image.
