[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 8.53pm, Saturday, 12th June 2010]

At the end of the install procedure I get the message: "The installer encountered a problem ... error code 2356.
This doesn't happen with 0.15.3

That is probably due to a corrupted installer.

Note that 0.16.1 is out, anyway, so download this one and retry, please.

I tried this allready but unfortunately also with 0.16.1 the problem persists.
Going back to 0.15.3 and installation is OK.

Sorry. Just downloaded and installed on a xp/sp3. No Prob.

Must be an issue with your computer/internet. Apparently, code 2356, means that something is missing in the msi, clearly pointing out a corrupted download...

Please google for "msi 2356" and check whether some the solutions apply to your case.
