The embeddable HTML generated by the Export tab uses "open cycle map" as layer name while embed.html uses "cycle map" [1] so the resulting iframe is empty.

This is a fragment of the generated HTML:
[...] src="http://www.openstreetmap.org/export/embed.html?bbox=9.5367,44.9826,9.832,45.1618&layer=open cycle map" [...]

The export tab produces "cycle map" for me...

I'm guessing you're using the web site in Italian? Unfortunately it seems that the export tab derives the name from the layer names which are things which get translated... So it only works properly in English...

This should be fixed now.
