I think landuse=commercial, industrial,retail (is landuse=retail done at all currently?) could be differentiated by shades of grey.

landuse=allotments, suggest brown
leisure=common, golf_course, nature_reserve, garden
suggest (shades of) green (is currently very unappealing grey)
leisure=water_park, marina, fishing
suggest (shads of) blue
amenity=parking
pink (c/f osmarender)
amenity=school
grey

[landuse] = 'industrial' #f1a0a0
[landuse] = 'commercial' #efc8c8
[landuse] = 'retail' #f1dada

are all kind of pinkish, but different. (they should start to render when the tile server is next updated)

landuse=allotments (#ae7535) is already a kind of brownish (not very appealing but hey, no gray)

fishing and marina are currently not rendered at all, so I'd rather leave them alone for now. Parkings are a kind of yellowish, so seem also fine.

Marking fixed. Please report other requests in a new ticket.
