To agree new Openstreetmap Contributor Terms #3283
Comments
Author: TomH It seems to work for me - what you say that you "cannot agree to the terms" what do you mean exactly? Is the button not there? Do you get an error when you click on it? |
Author: DarkFlash Replying to [comment:1 TomH]:
When I click on the question for the terms, it redirect me on user registration page, and the error is that my email address (the same address i user for osm) is alredy in use in the database... I've resolved changing my email address, the new one hasn't numbers in the beginning. |
Author: TomH So you click through to the terms page, then click on the accept button and get told your email address is already in use? |
Author: DarkFlash No, it give me errors when i click on the question on "my settings" page. I didn't see the "accept" button, because it didn't redirect me on the licence page, but it redirected me on the user registration page (with the errors). |
Author: TomH Are you sure it said the address was already in use? Or did it perhaps say that it wasn't a valid email address? I could understand that error, but not already in use one... Of course if you then submitted the signup form you probably would be told it was already in use. Perhaps you could tell me what the address was, or at least what the format of the local part was - was it just numbers or were there other things hre? |
Author: DarkFlash I'm sorry, you're right, the error was that my email it wasn't a valid email address. My email was 0darkflash[at]xxxx.com |
Author: TomH Hmmm... That address should have been valid. I wonder if a space had sneaked in at one end or something. Anyway I've made some changes to handle users with validation errors better when they try and agree to the terms. |

On Openstreetmap website if the frist character of the email registration is a number you cannot agree the news Contributor Terms. You login in the website, you go on "my settings", you click the question and you will go in the registration user page, but you cannot agree the terms.
