GPS tracks change the cursor and inhibit dragging of the map but are not selectable. This in-between state is a bit confusing, and possibly resource-consuming.

Actually they're selectable by holding down the Alt key - which seems to instantly turn the GPS track into a (tagless) way.

Probably the cursor shouldn't change (and no hit-testing done) if that key isn't down.

Also, the Alt key thing isn't in the help text. (I just happened to know about it from reading source.)
