[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 7.02pm, Saturday, 1st January 2011]

A few month ago node 836673303, namely "Mrchenbrunnen" in Wuppertal, Germany was tagged with place=city by someone. This happened in changeset 5377563. Since then, nominatim thinks that there was a city "Mrchenbrunnen" inside of the city "Wuppertal" although the tag was removed back in August.

See http://open.mapquestapi.com/nominatim/v1/details.php?place_id=92246469 ! This is a fountain/monument, not a city.
If you look up the street "Im Funkloch" in nominatim, you'll see Mrchenbrunnen in it's full address, even though it has nothing to do with it.
