While I think that the lowzoom t@h looks quite nice with all the forest underneath there is still some problem: the outline makes them all melt together hence loosing detail and become densly mapped areas completely green. If there was nooutline it would look much better IMHO. You can notice this in zoomlevels where also mapnik starts to display forests by comparison.
