[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 10.10pm, Saturday, 8th January 2011]

A road here has 5 digit house numbers, which when rendered on z17 run together.

http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=49.18368&lon=-122.89402&zoom=17&layers=M has an example on the north side of 99A Avenue. ON the south side, some house numbers have been dropped.

I'm not sure what the solution is, perhaps tolerating less overlap of the house numbers
