When a way has highway=service access=private (e.g. http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/89175231) and is viewed on z15
the red dashes are substantially wider than the highway=service.

See http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=49.19625&lon=-122.94942&zoom=15&layers=M as an example

When a way isn't rendered on zoom 15 (for example a highway=service, service=parking_aisle, access=private) the access restriction ''is'' rendered.
Some red dashes on a parking area without streets: [http://tile.openstreetmap.nl/?zoom=15&lat=53.24137&lon=6.53333&layers=B000000FFFF]
