When trying to add some nodes into a way I accidentally managed to crate a way with just a single node. I believe what I did was as follows:
shift-click to add a node into a way
clicked somewhere else to create a new way with 2 nodes
control-z to undo the creation of the previous node
When I looked at the data in Josm it complained that I had created a way with just a single node. It looks like the undo which removed the node did not undo the way which was implicitly created when the second node was added.
