#3698 reopened enhancement

Show users of a tag

It would be helpful to show users of a given key or key/value combination, sorted by percentage. This will help to indicate if a certain tag is only being used by a few individuals, or by a large group of people. I'm assuming that this would use the last user to edit an object, rather than considering the history of edits, which I think is perfectly acceptable.

This information is already available for keys. See the "Users" column on .

For key/value combinations it is currently not available, because it needs too many ressources to aggregate this information. Patches are welcome if anybody has a clever idea how to count this.

Ah, I never noticed that before. It was very tedious to find the key I was interested in however.

In that case I would like to amend this ticket slightly. Would it be possible to have that information on the key page itself? Like:

Perhaps more than just a number, it could show the % of objects tagged by individual users, basically generating the same kind of table as "Values" and "Combinations", with a "Count" and a "Users" column.

/I understand about calculating info for key/value combinations, but perhaps it would be feasible at some point to do this for the top 5 or 10 values, though I'm assuming that would consume roughly 5 to 10 time as much resources.

I have added a sentence to the overview page of the form "Objects with this key were last edited by 102 591 different users."

This is all we can do at the moment, because thats all the information available from the taginfo database. I'll leave this ticket open, maybe we can add more functionality in the future.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
