Author: Richard With only 382 uses so far (source: taginfo), this is too minor a tag to be considered for P2 yet. You could of course deploy your own custom instance with it in. |

Author: flaimo you only looked at the key payment (which is wrong anyway). you have to look at the namespace payment. there are over 20000 uses already: http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/search?q=payment#keys |

it would make sense to add a new tab "payment" to some POI types. for example fuel stations, restaurant, supermarkets, a.s.o.
on this tab the user sees checkboxes that represent the keys from the payment:namespace. see http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:payment
note that not all payment methods make sense for all POI types. fuel cards for example are only relevant for fuel stations.
